It was raining when we woke up. Not outside, but inside, our camper. That is never a good thing! Apparently it was not a good night to leave the vents open since it was so humid, and we had condensation everywhere from the ceiling to the floor!!! Rick said we had created our own atmosphere in there. Thankfully a quick cleanup and then we said goodbye to the truly fantastic Sugarloaf Key Holiday KOA.
We thoroughly enjoyed the drive out of the Keys as it was a beautiful day. Love it here; we will back but will leave the RV and pets at home next time.
The rest of the drive to Fort Myers was not nearly as fun. Crazy people in SFla, construction and rain. We completed a quick grocery stop (our first one). We even drove past the former Clinic facility in Naples where I had spent time over the years, lots of memories. We were so glad to finally pull into a beautiful spot for the next two nights. We will definitely enjoy this covered palapa area, complete with ceiling fans and lights.
This begins the friends and family portion of our trip and we are so excited for each and every person we get to see along the next week+!
But for now, it is time to relax… stay warm, OH friends!!!
